I hope you guys are right, but it sure seems the national talking heads are doing their best to come up with ways Bucky doesn't get in at 13-0.

If any power 5 team does not get in undefeated then I'm done with college football because apparently we didn't have a chance no matter how good we were. I don't watch the talking heads but they need to get people to watch somehow. I can't imagine bucky being left out after beating OSU. I just don't believe they can do it.

I hope you guys are right, but it sure seems the national talking heads are doing their best to come up with ways Bucky doesn't get in at 13-0. This ^^^ is what I am saying! It is all they have been talking about for weeks, and people are starting to believe it, after all, sometimes perception can easily become reality. The love for both Nick Saban and Urban Meyer knows no bounds and the powers that be want them in the picture at all costs, undefeated conference champions left out or not. Really sad if the Badgers find a way to win out and are not in the Playoff, but I fear this is what may happen. When all the talking heads can discuss is the fact that Ohio State WILL beat the Badgers this Saturday, giving Bucky no chance, and all the ways for a 2 loss Ohio State team to get into the Playoff even with a bunch of 1 loss teams on the board ahead of them, I fear Bucky has little chance of making this field of 4. What it does do, providing the Badgers did go 13-0 and not get in, is make the Selection Committee look really suspect and this is what will move the field of 4 to either a 6 or 8 team playoff.

I had to turn College Game Day off on Saturday morning because they kept talking about how OSU could end up in the playoffs. They are out whether they beat UW or not. Why they should even be in the discussion is beyond me.

Division 2 has a 28 team playoff, Divisions 3 is 32 teams I think.
Division 1 FCS has a 24 team playoff.
Why cant the FBS get its act in gear and expand to at least 16 teams. That is why i consider all of these post season games "exhibition games" which are meaningless except for the money they raise for their school.

So all you cheeseheads think you'd beat Alabama straight up? I don't have a pony in this fight but just curious to see if you think you could beat them in a National Championship Type setting?

We will never know if we never get the opportunity. We did hold them to 35 points in the season opening in 2015 with a defense that was not nearly as good as this one? Now could UW put up 35 on the Tide D, likely not, but I could see it being a low scoring, close game. As Brad stated earlier, Bucky has to take care of it's own house this Saturday in Indy, only then will any of it matter.

That ^^ said, does a 2 loss OSU team deserve to be in? Even if Oklahoma loses to TCU this weekend, they will have 2 losses and a head to head victory over the Buckeyes, the Sooners should be in over OSU at that point. Also if TCU beats Oklahoma, they will be a 2 loss team with a head to head over a team that beat the Buckeyes, TCU could have an argument there as well about being a 2 loss playoff team. If Clemson should lose to the Canes this weekend, they would be a 2 loss team with a 3 point loss to 'Cuse, not a blowout loss to Iowa like OSU and a conference championship loss to a Miami team that would be in by virtue of being the ACC champ. Stu said it above, OSU does not deserve to be in any way you look at it, but it is all the talking heads can think about at this point and it is getting ridiculous.

Win and they're in. It's that simple.

No clue. I think with this amazing defense we have we can shut down anyone. What is a shame is our defense is decimated and it is still that good. If we had all or most of the keys to our defense that we started with I have no doubt we could of beat anyone. I am amazed they have lost star after star on this team and have not seemed to miss much. They are that good.
