I'm guessing you're not gonna get rid of your Roth loyal disk. I know I'll never get rid of mine, since you already have a disk I would go with the tiller. I'd then shop around for a used spring tooth.

I may also still have to plant some of the new smaller plots with mule depending on how good the access turns out. The small disc works so well for me I thought an tractor disc would be the more reliable choice. Idk still thinking. I guess I could keep the Roth and use it in the tractor if in a bind.

If the loader is heavey it may get you stuck. I could not work my wetter areas with the loader on. Front tires would sink. But you can't dig out?
Ask your forester how much wetter the land will be after logging. Foggy and I have both seen how much water mature trees respirate. May need some ditching? If they use a dozer to final some plot spots make sure there is zero lip at the edge of the field. Amazing how much water a small lip around a flat field can hold back.

I would go tiller. I have a 1350# 7ft 3 pt disc and I still like the tiller better

Definitely on the ditching and no lips. I talked to the forester about this and his response was that getting the sun to the floor will help alot and the ground should be dryer.

HP? Gas or Diesel?
Does it have hydraulic top and tilt? In one of the pictures the top link looks like a hydraulic cylinder.

The hyd. top link and arm adjuster are really nice options. When doing grading work they sure would be handy, I wish i had those options.

Brad,
Man,. That's been a long time coming. Congrats.
Biggest tip I can give you is stay off your trails with that until they are dry or you'll be working twice as hard to maintain them.

I got a feeling Brads trails are like some of mine and never get dry unless its a drought. Thats why I had to build mine up.

Then it needs to stop raining once. LOL Yes, I try to stay off my trails and do a lot of work by foot instead of the ATV for that reason. I do plan to gravel my trail after logging so I can get around. Otherwise they turn into this
