I hit my house yesterday with Tempo. There was an armada of BE on it yesterday. Very few today. What kind of proximity coverage does that spray have? How far from spray contact will they stay away?

IME, there is no "repellent" value to permethrin or Spectracide/Triazcide. No idea about Tempo, maybe Mo knows. What happens is the bugs can go about their lives unharmed until they come into contact with the sprayed areas. If they spend enough time in the sprayed areas, they'll die. I add the spreader/sticker to help the stuff "stick" to the bugs as well as to the areas sprayed.

I was out of Triacide so I ran to Fleet Supply yesterday for a new jug. They didn't have Triacide, but they did have homeowner's strength Bifen, so I bought that. It was too windy to spray yesterday so I waited until this morning...even with light/variable winds I still took a bath in the stuff.

The boxelder bugs have been thick the last few days. I've only seen a few asian beetles, but I'm sure they're coming once the beans get picked. Time to get the house sprayed I guess.

Just hit the house and shed with a strong dose of bifen and spreader/sticker. The boxelders are incredibly thick this year, along with the wasps. Asian beetles not so much...yet

I've got Asian beetles galore here. I'll have to find out what to spray for them.

1 oz per gallon of water. Spray from the ground up 2 to 3 feet around entire house/building. It will not stain siding/etc.
i spray also on all my retaining walls and around the yard into the brush.
When I do it at my parents by Henning, the army worms are piled on the sidewalks the next morning. Amazing stuff.
Good thing this year is that army worms havent eaten everything. But it will get the rest of the bugs.

This is by far the worst year ever for boxelder bugs here. I'm going to go on a boxelder tree killing spree this winter.
I'm still only seeing a few Asian beetles, so at least there's that

Had to spray the house again today because the Japanese beetles were out in force. They suck.
