Winter squash are my favorites. Our spaghetti squash are not real yellow, but more white. Not ripe or different variety?

Winter squash are my favorites. Our spaghetti squash are not real yellow, but more white. Not ripe or different variety? I guess there are two varieties, those that are more yellow and those that are lighter colored. Ours are yellow (and so has every one I've purchased in a store), but they were lighter in color when immature.

Do deer eat it like they do pumpkins? Mine do. About a third of my pallet bin last winter was acorn squash. They ate them all, and quickly. There were Hershey squirts all over the plots because they got on them and the pumpkins too fast. I’m putting acorn squash into my mega blend next summer. $10 ideas

Do deer eat squash? I had a volunteer squash come up from last year (I thought it was pumpkin). Pulled the card while on stand this morning. Saw this from the browsed away brassica canopy.

I reported back on the thread last night. It was fantastic I did replace the kale that was called for in the recipe with some collard greens. They worked great, I'm sure it'd be good with any leafy greens.
