I got a used King Cutter 5' bush hog I am gong to part with. I('ve owned it since it was new. Its been around the block.....and does not look real good as I've had some patches put on.....but it still operates and cuts fine. Maybe not the best for grass.....but very good for clover, brush and trails. I've repaired it a few times......but never any damage to the gear box. It may be too small for your tractor at 5' wide and a 45hp gearbox? (you may tear it up and not know it?). I always think I'm gonna use it for "disposable" work.....but I never do.
Time to sell it.....and move on. $275 to a Deer Habitat junkie.

No problem by me. I don't really plan to actively sell it till next spring - if I get around to it. Having said this.....I wonder if mine is big enough for your tractor? You may want one that would cover your wheel tracks (sixer) if you can find one. I may even drive it over to you when your ready.....if there is a beer involved at the turn. It would be fun to see your place. No big deal to me either way, but if you find a low cost six footer....it is likelier heavy(er) duty and may work good for you. Still.....mine is cheap and it works fine. FWIW.......I assume you have a category II 3point hitch on your tractor (Heavier duty size for bigger tractors.) Thus if you want to use category 1 implements then you likely will need some conversion bushings to eliminate some of the slop between those sizes. You can get those for cheap at TSC or any implement dealer.

I'd supply whatever beer that would be necessary.

Works pretty decent too. I just have to turn the draw bar over so it sits a little lower. The front tines are a bit high and need to come down some.

^ That may be all the tillage equipment you need? I like my digger allot. I only penetrate the soil about 2 or 3 inches and that keeps the moisture in the soil and maintains the organic material better. <----alll lessons learned the hard way. I am becoming more minimum till all the time....but there are times you still gotta go a bit more aggressive....such as with corn stalks and such.
