A four-year-old was the youngest licensee to register a kill. Harvest data doesn't show who actually killed the deer, however.

Over 1,800 licenses to 9-year old or younger, and they still sold 10k less than last year. Hahahaha

A guy could legally take his infant next to him in the blind. Shoot a deer and party tag it during rifle season. And a warden could be standing right there and could nothing about it.

This rule has changed. A mentor can only shoot and use the mentee's tag if the mentee wounded the animal first. I am not arguing that it won't happen, just that the party hunting rule doesn't apply to mentor situations. dnr.wi.gov/education/outdoorskills/mentor.html

In Marathon county, my son got 4 free doe tags with his license.

I thought you had to specify county and public\private on that extra tag as well...I would need to go find my daughters tags to verify.

Unless they made a change late as even in counties where it was buck only a youth 17 and under could shoot a doe.

Hahahahaha. It'll never happen!

It was a statewide tag, but you still have to specify public or private.
