This was the best buck I had on cam last year. Figured he was 3. Showed up Nov 5th and tended multiple does until my last pic Nov 17th. Lots of pics/videos, but never saw him from the stand. This year he never showed up. No pics anyways. The oldest bucks I had around were both 2 yr olds. Took a walk at lunch doing some post-season scouting and found him today. Not sure how/when he died. Only gun hunters within 1/2 mile were the linesitters from 11/4 - 11/12. They shot 11 times, but supposedly only wounded 1 doe. I'm still pricing out fence... Basically the same frame from 3 to 4... few small differences. Tough to find the older ones dead when so they're so few and far between. Vid from last year

That sucks Matt! Yotes sure picked him clean. I've waited to walk around my area but plan to this weekend. Had to wait until Muzzy was over.

Sure hope not in Wright county!!! 😁 Yotes don't eat bones, wolves do. Never saw a yote kill that looked like that.

Dogs? Look up wright county for location. Just west of the Cities. Wisconsin has documented wolves in every county. Including Milwaukee and Dane county.

Last year they had wolves in Iowa and Missouri. Don't kid yourself that they aren't some close to the cities. That is another direct result of low deer numbers and high wolf numbers in the North.

No wolves in my area. Lots of yotes though. Have a camera on it now and added another carcass.

What makes you think that it wasn't wolves that killed the buck. Yotes or dogs don't eat bones. If you don't believe me ask some one that deals with and determines if it was a wolf or yote kill.

No wolves here Tom. I know my area well. It's not fresh... been there awhile. Lots of small critter tracks around it.
