Instead of relocating wolves so the island, why not relocate the moose to Kansas? I would let them dump off a big bull moose on our place (right after the opening of the first ever KS moose season).

This is nature ensuring the brainworm and tick resistant strain of moose on the island will live on. DNR seems to be struggling to kill off the cervids anywhere they're trying, and it's gotta be pissing them off.
I always get a kick out of when man fights the natural order.

That writer didn't dance around the reality of it. I got a chuckle out of this from the first paragraph: "A U.S.-Canadian team prepared Thursday for another mission to relocate gray wolves to Isle Royale National Park in Michigan from a second Lake Superior island, where the predators are in danger of starvation after gobbling up a caribou herd."
