I’d consider one of those Amish cabins! Not really looking for a house. 10x20 would be fine. It’s 130 acres so the most hunters we’d have is 3.
Wired for generator, sleeping areas, small kitchen, Tv ..that’s all I need.

Maybe a silly question, but for you guys that have tall/straight trees all over your place... have you considered building your own mini log cabin? Could be a fun way to clear a plot.

I’ve got a neighbor with 60 acres just down the road to keep an eye on it... and a perfect spot for the cabin. It’s just time. I like a little getaway spot. It’s only an hour, but nice to be able to stay up there on occasion. ,

A guy who drives OTR has a "house" just like that a few miles from here. He apparently lives in it when he's not on the road. Pretty affordable way to live.

The Amish cabin is really nice and priced fair, the smaller cabins in Milbank or Aldrich might work better. I will keep an eye out, good to know the options. If you see a good one please post it. I did see one in Parkers Prairie last year, but it sold before I got to look at it.

If anyone sees a cabin that can be moved ... I’m looking. I see a few on Craigslist but nothing that’s been the right fit. Prefer one that is not too far from my area (2-3 hours) but open to anything. WC Minnesota www.k-bid.com/auction/36418
