Picked up the roughcut today. its as advertised. Wow. $925 vs over $3000 for a new one now. Cha Ching! now I can leave the old roughcut at the farm forever. Loading them alone is an absolute pain in the ass to transport! Done with that! Mow trails at home next week, bring up north and leave the new one for the winter. Will use the new one on the farm next the parents house that we hunt. Perfect. I always dreaded the loading part. Hated it for that sole reason. Ours has sat in our shed for several years w/o being used. Should probably try and get it running and sell it. Get almost what we paid for it I'm guessing.

That saves a ton of hassle loading and unloading (and gas) and was worth every penny.

Did a drive around the hood last night before the bulk trash pickup day today. Found a house that the old man died 3 weeks ago and the kids were throwing all his shit out. I missed some of the bigger power tools but ended up with a nice heavy duty bench grinder with replacement wheels. 75 drill bits up to 3/4” for a drill press. Piles of hand tools and assorted pieces of steel. Also got a really nice pack frame for my up coming elk hunt.
Edit: I sure hope my kids don’t throw all my shit out like this when I die.

You'll want to talk to them about it in advance if you don't want it to happen.

You better get that pole barn built or you're going to pack yourself out of a house. Glad your finding stuff, now I know where I can borrow things. :-)

Hey there isn't anything wrong with dumpster diving, I've got some good stuff over the years. Also got ride of a lot of crap that way. One time I had an old bike I set out on the end of the road for the trash guy, It was gone before I got back to the house.

Slim Pickens for the Cuda and me dumpster diving today. Only about $80 worth of stuff. Stupid garbage guy emptied all the dumpsters on Thursday and Friday. Screwed us all up.
