The feeding ban is interesting. So the ban in my area was due to the CWD found by Osakis? Yet OTC (Parkers Prairie) is not in the ban, but west side of Pope County is, which is actually farther than Osakis?
Swift County which borders Pope is not part of the ban, so 5 miles from my other farm I can feed on the one, but not the other...stupid. At this point, I am just gonna put out some mineral and water tubs and that is probably it.

"(Starting July 1, 2020, the ban will be lifted from Kandiyohi, McLeod, Meeker, Renville and Wright counties as CWD was not detected in any wild deer in the third-consecutive year of disease testing in central Minnesota.)" From here www.dnr.state.mn.us/cwd/feedban.htmlSo, if that actually happens it should stand to reason that the bans will be lifted from other counties if no wild deer test positive for 3 years...right?

Hundred miles? Does that mean we need a 125 mile radius? My cabin is only 212 miles away, and if that deer lives through two seasons, it could reach my place. It seems like everything awful that is happening in the world right now is coming out of this zone that I have outlined her I-80. I am proposing that we isolate the proposed hot zone of central and southern MN, as well as all of Iowa. For our brothers behind the fence, we are sorry, but the fate of humanity requires us to act boldly and swiftly.

CWD testing will be voluntary in cwd zones this year in Minnesota. Sounds like we are saving some money.
