Not a bad plan. Who will write text books of college professors cannot? I don’t think I could write the latest book on thermodynamics.
How about this plan? Eliminate student loans. If people couldn’t pay the inflated cost of college, the price of college would drop to an affordable level.

Listened to NPR for a few minutes this morning. They were interviewing people from SC. The general feel they gave was that the dems there would vote for anybody over Trump as long as they were moderate... they would not vote for Bernie though. That's how bad these candidates and debates are, even the nevertrumpers are going to vote Trump because of them.

You want sound education policy, or flawless writing?

If people couldn’t pay the inflated cost of college, the price of college would drop to an affordable level. Write books or teach. There are enough people to go around to do both. It's high time we flush the moral hazards and conflicts of interest out of education. We just had a big scandal down here about a doctor who created a spinal implant and put it into like a thousand patients, many who didn't need it, to line his own pockets on the device. There is every incentive in the world to get as many kids into a school whether they're a good fit or not. The schools bear no responsibility for who they let in, and whether or not they succeed. The kids are merely a conduit to shuttle money from government and lenders into the pockets of big Ed. Education needs to be about outcomes, not simply who's gonna pay the bill.

Oh goody, I love english lessons. One I see time after time is lose/loose. Lose means you lost. Loose is what change is, ie, not tight. Carry on.

(Phone rings...)
Amy: "Hello?"
Anonymous: "It's time for you to drop out and endorse Joe when you take the stage. Should you choose not to, on my order, that hall you're in will take the stage and shut down your last big event, and you will go down a disgraced racist."
Amy: "Who is this? You can kiss my ass!"
