This sets our civil rights back 70 years. When will we see the folly of cisgender judges making rulings on trans Americans? The courts can now decide who is “woman enough” to compete. Why is any of this even a story? Dicks don’t compete or race against pussy’s! End of story!

5/19/19Oh what a gem! Ok, seems like women want to shed the last thing they brought to a relationship with a man. We were ok with the weaponization and later elimination of sex from the relationship. We could tolerate the sinister motives of co-opting our labors. We accepted the abandonment of the kitchen and capitulated to equal sharing of household chores. We were even ok with the inevitable ravages of the wall.
But now, they don't even want to talk? I have to ask myself, what is left? Please tell me what it is that today's empowered woman brings to the table for a man?
Perhaps this is another unintended consequence of the war on "toxic masculinity."
We have beaten our boys into the neck bearded, earth tone wearing, craft beer drinking, pudgy pillow men with pale skin that carry their feminist girlfriend's purse around from coffee shop to bistro to boutique. He now expresses his lack of testicles by what he drives, his views on the world, his love of video games, and other fruitless non-manly forms of expression. Feminists love these men because they are docile like a purse dog. But they don't wanna rip their clothes off and have hot smelly animal sex with them. Oh the conundrum.
When we beat the man out of man, it is no surprise that women feel like they're being used up in a relationship. Women may not know this, but they are biologically programmed to want an alpha. But they are indoctrinated to believe they want a beta. When their own evolutionary urges are at bay, they gravitate towards the beta. But when a full moon rolls around and it's time to get primal, they find their would-be lover to be soft, effeminate, emotionally greedy, and ultimately frustrating. It's at this point that they realize, they are not getting a return on their investment, and turn to the internet and other feminists to moan about how men aren't men anymore.
Whoops.

nypost.com/2019/06/06/millennial-dads-have-pathetic-diy-skills-compared-to-baby-boomers/It's embarrassing how true this is. I consider myself pretty hand, and I'm still embarrassed by what I don't know how to do compared to my ancestors. I can't imagine what it's like to be the urban man-boy that can't operate his car jack or drive a nail. Millennial dads have pathetic DIY skills compared to baby boomers

Are dads’ essential DIY skills in decline?
Are dads’ essential DIY skills in decline? According to new research, millennial dads are less capable than their own dads when it comes to everyday DIY fixes, preferring to rely on professional help instead.
A new poll of 1,000 millennial dads and 1,000 baby boomer dads found that when a DIY task needs to be done at home, more than half of millennials prefer to call a professional.
And when it comes to emergency “handiness” scenarios, millennial dads fall short in almost every category.
Millennial dads are less likely than their boomer counterparts to be able to change a car tire on the side of the road, unblock a toilet or sink, reset a tripped circuit breaker or even open a stuck pickle jar with their hands.
The new survey, conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Alarm.com, found that modern dads’ toolkits have declined too.
Many millennial dads reported not owning a cordless drill (46%), a stepladder (49%), a set of screwdrivers (38%) or even a hammer (32 percent) — an item owned by 93% of boomer dads.
Why the decline in DIY?
Both generations pointed to modern technology becoming harder to fix as the top reason.
“The technology in the average home has evolved,” says Anne Ferguson, VP of marketing at Alarm.com.
“Hi-tech upgrades like smart home technology require professional support, especially safety and security upgrades. Even the handiest dads see the value of partnering with a professional service provider on an important project like a smart home security system.”
The definition of what it means to be a “handy” dad has also changed, said 79% percent of millennials. Seventy-four percent of boomers agreed with them.
For example, while boomer dads have the edge when it comes to traditional DIY, 62% of boomer dads concede that millennial dads are better at tech-related tasks.
Millennial dads are also more likely than their own fathers to prioritize family time over DIY.
Sixty-one percent would rather hang out with their children than spend that time on DIY, while 49% of millennial dads say they’ve done better than their own dad at spending quality time with their kids.
“Just as dads’ roles have evolved, so has the definition of handiness,” says Ferguson.
“Today’s time-pressed dads are quick to master new tools like apps and mobile technology for their families’ benefit. They’re also more likely to outsource time-consuming home maintenance to professionals who have the tools and training to get the job done right — a handy trade-off that enables today’s dads to spend more time with the people they love.”

I think CNN got their math wrong on this. 3200 x $15 is $48,000, but whatever.

WWE using a Sasha Banks crotch showcase to announce Smackdown is coming back to Sioux Falls. Genius.

That is the dumbest shit I've heard in a while. You can't feed any amount of power to big users with solar. Shit will never pay off. The feds put a solar roof over the parking lot at Mt Rushmore, and they'll never recoup their cost, shit they won't even recoup half of it. But it felt good. The whole country could be powered by natural gas, and the shit can be cranked up and down at a moments notice with demand. It's only when you're off grid and you match your needs to the best economic model. Just so happens that seasonal cabin grid power is the most expensive form of power available when figured on a per kW/hr. Marginal cost may be ten cents per kW/hr, but if you only use 25/month, then it jumps up to $2.40, or 2,400% higher. But then again, there is freedom in knowing you can run 3 wood lathes at a time if you ever wanted to. #Math FORE?

I'd guess every-other home has solar.....and the schools have solar covered parking lots.....and so do some of the business's and even grocery stores, etc. Collectively they can provide more than enough power during daytime hours.....way more than needed. The issue has been storage.....and so the power companies have these huge battery facilities. It's the future man......much like your pip squeak operation.....on steroids. None of it makes any sense without government funding. Kinda like ethanol.....it don't add up. But....we do want our freedom from oil. You can't save 'em all.

Did they reveal the cause of the accident or whether the guy driving the truck was drunk/high? Most of the articles basically say lots of bikers died, but they didn't say who pulled out in front of who or if anyone was impaired in some way.
If they arrested the driver of the truck I'm assuming he was doing something illegal, but I haven't read anything specifying what that was.
