This range in N.H. had never had an injury in 91 until yesterday. The instructors broke the gun safety rules. www.sentinelsource.com/news/local/police-two-men-injured-in-shooting-accident-at-keene-range/article_dbda401c-9e66-5485-a375-bb7af36f5754.htmlTwo safety officers went to the hospital Sunday with gunshot wounds after one accidentally fired a gun at the other at an event at the shooting range on Ferry Brook Road, Keene police said. Officers responded to the range, run by the Cheshire County Shooting Sports Education Foundation, at about 11:40 a.m., according to Keene police Sgt. Collin L. Zamore. One safety officer apparently attempted to give a demonstration using a dummy weapon, Zamore said, but grabbed a real firearm by mistake. The man fired the gun while his hand was in front of it, according to Zamore, and the bullet traveled through his hand and into the abdomen of a second safety officer. Zamore confirmed both men were at the range for the 2019 annual Cheshire County Republican Shoot, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, according to the Cheshire County Republican Committee’s website. Zamore declined to release the men’s names, pending more information on their medical condition and assurance family has been notified of the incident. He said people at the range administered first aid until Keene police and fire personnel arrived. Both safety officers were taken to Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, though Zamore did not know the extent of their injuries. The gun range foundation’s general manager, Peter Crowell, was not reachable for comment before press time this morning. Board Chairman Mike Hagan said this morning that the two safety officers are volunteers at the range. He declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation, but said the range had not previously had any injuries in 91 years.

For a crazy dude, he seems to have some skills. Escaped a vehicle chase, evaded them in the woods, stole a logging truck, and managed to get one shot on target. They're lucky that's all he did. Too bad nobody could get the dude some help.

That is only part of the problem, the panhandlers in the city is at an epidemic level. You can't drive or walk downtown without somebody approaching you asking for money. Years ago it was fun to go downtown and bar hop, but I would never go downtown at night now. Allot of it is probably my age but it is much more dangerous today then it was 25 years ago. All of those thugs in the article can't be fixed, they have no values and can't be changed by government programs.

What was it a few weeks ago? Rifle ammo or pistol ammo?
This week vaping products.
Any bets on next week? High fructose corn syrup? Gluten? Salty snacks? It is worldwide climate strike day, maybe bottled water?

So true, the media never reports the total killings in the metro area , instead talking by each city. If you combine Minneapolis and St Paul I believe we have 55 YTD. St Paul had 8 last month. Think about that, for those who know the 494 circle, probably 70 murders in that area in 2019. Rather than fix what has caused these problems Minnesota will double down on programs. Once things get bad enough the Liberals will get voted out of office.
