I think it's prudent to go over your bills each month to make sure all your T's are dotted and I's are crossed. I was puzzled to see what I was paying for TV. Somehow Hulu's $5.99 service evolved to a $64/mo bill, and my Netflix was pushing $14 with sales tax. I haven't logged into Netflix in two months.
That's like an extra electricity bill. What's next? Keeping a brand new orange cab tractor at stab camp for the 24 days a year I spend there?
Anyway, add pay-TV to the list of things millennials are going to kill. You thought it was just cable and satellite? Nope, we move like a pack of wolves.
What's the alternative? Pluto TV + OTA. Download it.

I enjoy my pay TV. Watching porn on a laptop sucks. So much better on the 55" screen.

laptop, HDMI cable to the TV
Presto, all the streaming you want on the 55 inch
The complaint I have is that a remote control for the TV to change between 200 channels is so much more convenient from my recliner.

I have an antenna at my house and cabin and I get the standard network channels for free.
I also have no landline phone or cable/internet. I'm half a step away from being Amish.

I'm stuck at home for the weekend yet, but after this one, the social calendar picks up in a hurry. I'm headed out to deadwood next weekend. The following weekend I've got a property walk for one of my consulting clients. After that, snow and mud season should about be wrapped up and I'll be opening up stab camp for the year. But for today, I'm watching old modern marvels episodes on the youtube app.

Our plan is to have our primary home in Arizona and downsize our Minnesota home.

FORE! Being a trend setter is not easy. I believe it was Christ himself that walked out onto the water and invited his trembling disciples to follow. While I am not comparing myself to Jesus, I am saying that I can take the persecution so that others may succeed. Someone has to set the course and show it can be done. We've made great progress with gypsum, lime choice, pumpkins, and leaf blowers. Soon we'll know what can be done with medium white clover and flail mowers.

Can you make clear ice cubes in July, off of the grid? Enough for bucket AC? I would suggest you get another bucket and quit using the shitter bucket for AC.

The science can definitely be replicated in a propane freezer, yes. I forgot about the bucket crapper.
