I'm going to start using a Ozone machine to help eliminate my scent. I see there are Ozone machines used to eliminate scent either in a tote or closet but also Ozone machines (Ozonics) that you attach to your deer stand to eliminate scent. www.ozonicshunting.com/Ozonics are expensive but if they work would be a nice product. A few months ago I was at Archery Country in Rogers talking to them about Ozone machines and they indicated they have customers who say the Ozonics machines work. Anybody ever try or heard how the Ozonic machines work? I think you would need both a Ozone machine to use on your clothing but a tree unit would be nice particularly for those stands where the wind is always against you.

I am worried about the health effects on breathing the ozone it creates. Do a google search. In a tree it may be fine but no way would i use one in a blind. Maybe it is something or maybe it is nothing but its not worth it to me to inhale something that is bad for you.

They are 100% in a blind. The older units lacked the cfm to be 100% in a tree, but the newer units push more air. Not sure how much that helps in the tree.
They will affect some folks throats and eyes.
Nosejammer is cheaper and you get to smell like a sugar cookie.
I have 3 of the original Ozonics units and only use them for bad smells in the house or car now. Nosejammer is much more simple and I have dont have to scent free my clothes/shoes/body etc.

My neighbors have an ozone closet that is the size of a small bathroom (Minnesota Rackstars group). I have put my hunting clothes in there and it seems to work.
I picked the clothes up one day and they had the unit running. I had tremendous irritation in the nose and throat after just a few minutes in there.
I hang my hunting clothes outside before rifle season and have pretty much given up on much of the scent control routine. It takes too much time and I just don’t want to do it anymore. Hanging clothes outside can even be a problem with a neighboring hog barn. I don’t see a problem with the hog odors on clothing here, but it might be a problem in other areas.
I don’t even care if I get a deer with the bow. I just want some peaceful time in the woods during late October and early November.

I have a tote that has an ozone machine that I made. Works well for keeping your clothes, boots scent free between washings. I also have a small one that I plug into cigarette lighter to freshen up truck before I go hunting. I do not run it while I am in truck. With mu enclosed blind that is ground level I never had a deer bust me even with wind blowing towards deer with front windows open. Some of the deer were less than 3 feet from blind. The few times I used nose jammer I had one doe that would just go ballistic from the smell of it. She won't blow any more as she met her demise Dec. 21, 20018

A few pics of my home made ozone tote. imagehostI use the exact same machine. Just too lazy to attach it to the tote I simply crack the lid slightly when I run it and insert the hose

I would never breath in the Ozone it creates. i don't know how you avoid breathing ozone when your outside other than when the wind S fairly strong. I don't know about using it with swirling winds.

I think I'll start with the tote and see what results I get. I often have does close to me way before bucks and they will be a good test. looks like they still sell the same unit you have so I'll go that route. There are allot of name brand units out there but I doubt there any better.

You also breath it when you are welding if you are not wearing the proper mask. The hotter and brighter the arc, the more ozone it produces.

I need to buy an ozone machine for the men's bathroom here at work. It seems that Busch Light and baked beans are the two primary food groups consumed by some of my coworkers.
