I haven’t read the whole thread but have two brief comments on the news. Trump put tariffs on European autos and Germany immediately began considering reducing existing tariffs on US cars.
Tesla has decided to build a plant in China. They are the first company to NOT need a Chinese business partner and they also do not need to share technology.
These were each mentioned once and the rest of the news is all one sided about how bad the trade war is...

A government whose agenda is very similar to the far left in the US. There is a pattern here.

Good article. At age 19 I cast my first vote for Bill Clinton. I didn’t have a solid opinion on politics or philosophy on how to live my life. I just thought I should vote out the incumbent and vote in the new guy. I voted against slick willie by 1996. Named my new puppy Reagan by 1999 and still carry that internet handle today. I don’t watch any news on TV anymore. I know who is wrong and I know is mostly right. It’s not because of my parents (1 is a republican 1 is not) it because I, much like the author of the article came to the only logical conclusion a working and thinking adult can get to. Every democratic I talk to is functioning off of their emotions and not logic.

I don't know a lot about Nicholson, but everything I read has me thinking I will vote for him in the primary. You got to respect someone who gets a college education and then joins the military.

His Parents are brain washed and most likely unable to think critically. Agree 100% with him, the current leftist that are runnng the Democratic Party have zero tolerance for anybody who has different opinions. I don't think all democrats are this way but the DNC sure is. The pendulum has swung to far left in the Democratic party and at this point seems destructive to the health of the country. Moderation and a two party system that worked together would be a good place for the pendulum to stay at.

I was too young to vote for him but I lived through what he did and saw what the presidents who followed him did. Reagan did a great job on many levels! I voted against willie once with a vote for Ross Perot. I thought he had great economic plans and had quotes like this: “If your own wife can’t trust you then how can I ever trust you”. He was a much different person than Clinton and I wonder what our country would be like now if Clinton had never won. If I remember right he started NAFTA, gave China a bunch of steel (and US factories), and made it socially ok to be a scumbag while in office. I think he was the start of the democratic parties platform being based on emotion and not reason. Obumer headed to the races with the same emotional platform. Remember how many LEO's were being attacked while Obumer was in office? When's the last time you've heard of blatant attacks on police... was it in Dallas at the end of Obies last term? Democrats fostered hatred for groups and encourage lashing out when it isn't appropriate while shouting the opposite.

All their behavior makes perfect sense when you realize they place the agenda above all else. This is why you find them abusing their own kind and getting away with it. “He’s too important to the cause” shit. They’ll also throw away elections and red state seat holders before they abandon the agenda. They did it in 2010, and they’re doing it again now. This is why they never attack their own despite some of the most atrocious behavior. This is also why I watch and wonder how victim herds rank in political power, between race, gender, and sexual inventiveness. The cheese is always moving. For a while BLM/hate cops was king, then it was feminine dudes wanting to shit in the ladies room. It briefly swung to illegals as of late, but then the cornerstone of liberalism (abortion) came back front and center as Kennedy announced his retirement. All others had to move to the back of the bus.

This is old thinking and I think the country sees it. Let's hope those organizations that prop up this thinking diminish in power, particularly the mainstream media.

Falls right in line with the hypocrite liberal voting protesters in Chicago. Protesting the cops shooting an "unarmed" black man who CLEARLY had a gun on his belt and was reaching for his waist while taking off to get away, yet you don't hear a damn thing about the protesting they do about shooting each other 20+ times each week...oh wait...they DON'T protest that at all now do they...hmmmm...

Sure enough. I had it in my head that Clinton had negotiated changes to it and signed on. I hadn't realized it was Reagan's baby. Good call.
