A box blind that is close to thick cover and has a funnel feature .. I like that option !
Seems like deer are moving in and out of the sanctuary and you can hunt them in comfort and less scent dispersal!

I've been toying with adding a couple box blinds along the edge of my sanctuary. I know it would be fun to sit there and be able to see into my tamarack swamp, but I also think that I already am seeing most every buck that moves through here at some point. I'll never have a stand right in the swamp/sanctuary, mainly because I have no intention of dragging a big old buck out of there (or tracking one in there). That son in-law could help you but, it could turn in to being over used and cause more issues.

Hinge cutting in the Sanctuary this spring …Mental note!
I guess it’s not a 365 sanctuary if you go in there in the spring ?
I assume you guys shed hunt or walk in the sanctuary in the spring months ?

I haven't set foot in my tamarack/tag alder swamp/sanctuary since 2012. I don't believe any human has since at least then either.

I walk all my sanctuaries while shed hunting. I'm careful not to touch stuff with my hands, and I tried to only do it a couple of times a spring. I have a cell cam over some feed right now and I can tell on the weekends that I shed hunt that I don't get as many pics as normal. At least I think there is a correlation, could just be that they are grouping up differently and changing patterns as can happen after antlers drop.
