Bought this today. 2016 Kodiak 700 EPS SE 1000 miles An older guy owned 2 of these and passed 3 years ago. The guy I am buying from, it was his uncle that had both. Current owner said he really hasnt used it and is selling due to that. So it would seem the useage would have likely been not to rough. Never driven one with Power steering. Wow, is that nice. I need power steering. My hands go numb in minutes driving an ATV and turning..... AKA food plotting or riding with lots of turns. Getting Karpal Tunnel surgery this fall I think. It sucks. Pics are deceiving. It does have plastic "rash". Nothing busted. Just scratches and scrub marks here and there(the pics were taken right after the wash, so a lot of this is hidden. I was a bit surprised when I initially saw it to be very honest). Needs a little TLC, but the core unit is the important peace. It does need tires. Going to sell my 2007 Grizzly, and crossing my fingers the plow from that can be used on this one.

Nice unit, that should do everything you ask of it. I see it has a beer holder, got to have one of those. Power steering would be sweet.
Are you planning on adding some kind of a basket rack for carrying things?

How much for your 07 Grizzly and is it in good shape ? I have to figure out if I can move the plow from the grizz to the kodiak. I dont know how standard the frame hookups are or arent. Price, I am not sure. This kinda hit me out of the blue. I had considered selling my 2020 king quad, and the purcahse would be a wash... and keeping the grizz since its got the plow, custom mounted bracket for my seed spreader. then I thought, why would I keep the older one when I can have 2 basically new ones. The one thing I LOVE about the grizz is how nimble it is and overall frame size is quite smaller than the king quad or this. Oh well, 6 of one or half a dozen of another.

When I had the place in the big woods I sometimes wished I'd got a smaller machine, more nimble on my narrow trails. But here in the great wide open, 700CC sure is nice.

Yet another foodplotting season has come and gone and my old KingQuad is still alive (knock on wood). I was looking hard for a new atv earlier this year because I never thought the KQ would make it through the summer. Maybe the damn thing will make it through winter and next plotting season...
I'd think there's going to be a bunch of used ATVs, UTVs, and other things hitting the market in the months to come.

Kooch What year kodiak do you have?
I had done some deep diving to find reviews on the 700 prior to buying.
Last night I stumbled on something thats not too exciting. While looking at accessories to add to it, I came across a link to raised my eyebrow.
Yamaha made the 708cc only 3 years. 16-18. They went back to the 686 in 19.
There is a widely known issue with the 708cc motor. A very common issue is the motor beginning to use oil and smoking heavily. Yamaha has/had a recall to fix the cyclinder.
Needless to say, that doesnt make me feel very good. Good grief.
I will have to ask the guy if he has any idea of the fix was ever applied or not. I guess I can call Yamaha to see if they have record of it being updated.
