Did you notice the Badger DB was 10 yards off the Oregon receiver on the game winning first down?? Why? That’s SOP. Play not to win.

Damn near double yards total compared to Oregon and UW lost. I put that loss completely on Paul Chryst and the UW coaching staff. Chryst didn’t turn the ball over 4 times or have an inordinate amount of penalties. The plays played like ass. Simple execution in many spots that didn’t happen. Don’t miss a fucking field goal. Don’t hand the ball to the defense while punting. I could go on but that’s 10 points right there. What coach and coaching staff instructed the UW players? They're kids. They need leadership. They got none. Execution at the college level is all about coaching IMO

The punter dropped the fucking ball without being touched. Oregon walked it into the end zone. That’s not on coaching. Fumbling the ball isn’t on coaching. The players have to make the plays. Groshek whiffed completely on a block on a screen late in the game. That can’t happen.

I guess we'll see what Chryst does in the future. I'm not convinced he's a next level coach. Coaches get college kids to perform. Great coaches get college kids to out perform their talent levels. Chryst isn't doing that. I'd be agreeing with you if we were talking about NFL teams. Those guys are paid professionals. 95%+ of the kids on both Oregon and UW won't be playing at that level. Coaching is a completely different deal at the college level IMO

You’re funny if you think the players at Alabama, OSU, and Clemson aren’t paid professionals. That’s the next level for UW. We’ll never play that game though.

Are the Oregon players paid professionals? No more so than the UW kids I'd say. How about the last 3 or 4 teams that beat UW in the Rose Bowl, were they paid professionals? Bama and OSU...yep, that's another deal. I don't think Clemson is that corrupt (yet), but they're probably on the way.

Oregon cheats with the best of them. Nike $$$. Their basketball team is the same. Altman is as dirty as they come.

We are 0-8 in the last rose bowls and B1G champ games. It’s not a Chryst thing. It’s a UW thing. Anderson and Bielema lost them all too.

UW clearly has/had more player talent than UM.
UW underachieved
UM overachieved
Why?
Chryst isn't the guy IMO
Is Fleck? I don't know.
Who would I want coaching my kid (if I had one)? Fleck

If Chryst isn’t the guy, who is then?
This sounds about like the people that complain about Gard.
Be careful what you wish for. People like to complain but they have no answers.
We’ve had 3 straight coaches that couldn’t win the big ones. But people tend to overlook we are playing in the big ones on an almost yearly basis. We could turn into Minnesota with the wrong hire. Years of mediocrity.

Gard has to go too
You're too young to remember when UW sucked at every sport(except hockey). They could be on the way back to those years.

Both are in the process of stacking back to back recruiting classes. 3 in a row for football. Both are in great shape moving forward.

I'm sure his team will be competitive with OSU tonight
