^^^I hear you and had the same thought. That said, I hope I'm not remembered for the worst thing(s) I've done when I kick the bucket. Kobe came a long way the last 10-20 years. I think he was doing a good job raising his daughters. Maybe out of guilt. Maybe because he learned from his mistakes. Maybe because he had become a better person. I know I'm not the same person I was 20-30 years ago. I agree. I despised him for years. Could be because I’m old school and a Celtics fan. I have a hard time watching most professional sports now a days.

Agreed Stu. Sports sadly have a different level of this crap.
Patrick Kane for the Blackhawks was "accused" of rape/sexual assualt and he bought her out, and it was wiped clean from the news and he continues to play hockey.
If you or I did that, we are getting the high hard one from Toby down in the Stillwater prison.

The rape thing has bothered me since it happened. Never knew if it was actual rape, assault, or completley consensual. Figured only 2 people in the world knew the truth to that encounter. Always left a bad taste about him, never was a fan. Still, I can't imagine the last few moments with the kid.

I think it would shock people to know how many sex offenders and opportunistic accusers walk among us. There would never be a quorum in congress, anyone to read the news, or any TV or movies produced if these people were actually prosecuted.

What he was guilty of was cheating on his wife with a star fucker. The experience wasn’t what she was hoping for so she went to the police. If he would have told her he was leaving his wife for her they may still be together today. Of coarse these are my conclusions. I was never a fan of his until the last couple years. He would go on Dan Patrick and talk about how the rest of his life would be about his daughters. He joked about being one away from having a starting five. I think he was a good dude that got handed the world at 18. Can’t imagine myself in that position, I know things I did with no money or fame.

Not sure if it is a NY thing but we have a website for registered sex offenders. If you pull up the map it is alarming how many there are and how concentrated they are in certain spots. Pretty scary and those are only the convicted ones.

Pretty scary and those are only the convicted ones. I'm talking about the ones that openly get away with it. Your Epsteins, Weinsteins, Bill Clinton, Senator Menendez, Bill Richardson, Kevin Spacey, Biden, Lauer, O'Reilly, Roger Ailes, etc. The ones that suddenly get prosecuted have to be asking themselves, "What happened to my protection?" I think it's understood among those circles that they can get away with anything, so long as they hold up their end of the bargain. Suddenly, they find themselves no longer above the law and have to wonder what in the hell went wrong. Why dig up Epstein and have him prosecuted and murdered all of a sudden? Out of all of Hollywood, why prosecute only Weinstein for his casting couch abuses all of a sudden? What changed in the sphere of power that the certain untouchables are no longer untouchable?

The funny thing is I remember watching most of those games.
The only shot shot I remember him missing with the game on the line was the one against the Lakers. The NBA would’ve been entirely different history wise if Len Bias hadn’t have killed himself. Michael Jordan would not have won as many championships and the Celtics would’ve had 4-5 more.
