When I was in highschool, I had to pay my own insurance. So once a year, I'd get good grades to get the discount. Never drove anything worth a deductible until I went to college.

Coming due soon but I don't remember the exact cost. If memory serves me correctly it's about $500.00 for 2014 Silverado and 2014 GMC terrain, 500 deductable.

I have not paid shit for attention to car insurance bills for a long time. We got a 6 month bill today from AAA. Shame on me for not paying attention. I know. $3500 for 6 months. $7000 a year! WHAT! Me - 51 driving 2015 Silverado - $1000 deductible/250 comp Wife - 50 driving 2019 Toyota Highlander - $1000 deductible/250 comp Son - 23 driving 2006 Toyota Camry - $1000 deductible/250 comp Daughter - 18 driving 2011 Nissan Rogue - $1000 deductible/250 comp I have not been in an accident for 25+ years, zero speeding tickets since 1990 or so. Wife, no accidents for 20 years and no tickets of any sort. Son, zero accidents zero tickets. Daughter, zero accidents and one speeding ticket. What the hell are you guys paying for car insurance? I shit my pants when I looked at the bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I switched to AAA several years ago and got a BiG discount over American Family. But at that time neither kid was driving. Maybe seeing all these stupid commercials for Geico and shit deserves a call. You and I both live in the metro which will be higher than people in the out-state area. I use Liberty Mutual and here is what I have and pay. 2017 F350 Diesel 4x4 $1,412.00 per year Full Coverage 2018 Nissan Pathfinder Limited, $1,410.00 per year full coverage 2013 Nissan Murano LS, $1,168.00 per year full coverage Total is $3,993.00 per year with a $500 dollar deductable. We bundle home etc. to get this price and have no tickets or accident claims. I do think our insurance costs are plenty high. I have run my numbers against others and they seem OK. I have not compared to Geico which I probably should. |

Mid $500's every 6 months for each of my wife's 2018 SUV and my 05 Truck.
The 55 Ford truck and 68 Olds are $36 each every 6 months.

I am pretty familiar with the rates in MN. Our agency/independent companies usually beat State Farm, Am Family, Allstate, Farmers and Geico.
Why? First off my companies do not sponsor Aaron Rogers. He and Mahomes are adding some cost to the policy. Geico is one of the top advertisers in the world, they also get a lot of glass claims as they don’t have agents. People add full glass with a broken windshield... no one to inspect. My son worked for American Family in Moorhead, they were not competitive in price.
I can tell you without a doubt if you have State Farm life insurance or Am Family it’s too high. Transamerica, Cincinnati, Prudential, they will offer a much better rate in most cases... working on one now where the life premium is 1/2 that of State Farm.
Bundling with your home, etc... makes a big difference.

I have a commercial policy through ANPAC on my 2017 Ford F350. Its $407 a year. Full coverage with $1000 deductible, 500,000 liability. My wife's F150 is the same at $560/year through ANPAC.
Edit: No one that I could find can touch ANPAC's prices, no one. Switch my term life from State farm that was hitting me at $1100/year to ANPAC for $600/year locked in for 19 more years. They are the best.
