Before I owned my land I was posted near a field Here comes a doe running right past my stand. I line up the shot pull the trigger and I see I hit her good. But I load another one and are swinging with her and to get a second shot. Well I didn't have the gun properly mounted to my shoulder and I let her rip and scope myself in the top of the nose. I think I was bleeding more than her when I was gutting her. Also the second shot was bad and liquidfied her guts so it was a big mess in there. Everyone got a good laugh at me back at camp.

I had a beer last night for the first time in about two months. It was some kind of blended IPA cloudy thing. I didn’t wanna hear the story, I just told her to pour it.
About half an hour into it, it feels like my guts were about to explode. That was awful.

Seems every little brewery going up makes all kinds of terrible tasting beers at twice the carbs and calories of some good tasting brands. I cannot understand the crap people drink. I far prefer a lager beer or some of the red ales out there to these bitter, cloudy IPA's. .......and you would think they could keep the flipping fruit out of the beer. Who wants a raspberry flavored beer? Pretty soon we will have apples in our beer. FORE!

If you don't like IPAs don't drink them. I like about every 4th or 5th IPA I try. When the bitterness is balanced with a malty component, it's like heaven in a bottle (e.g. Bell's Two Hearted, Fargo Brewing's Woodchipper, Fulton Brewing's Sweet Child of Vine). Personally, I can't stand stouts...any stout. Yet an awful lot of people go nuts for Guinness. I don't belittle stout drinkers, I just don't drink stout

I think they brew lots of IPA because they sell it before the process is complete. Faster turns.

Seems odd to me. Pumped up prices for lousy, cheap beers. "Merica? ....I suppose.

Heck, plenty of bars around here don't have any tap beer. When you hang out with a bunch of rich folks you end up getting served expensive drinks.

Yep.....you can go to some pretty speedy places.....but most of the places I frequent are "joints" or bar and grill type places. Every now and again we go to some more expensive places......but even then they are not 'over the top". I know were those places are.....but we dont fit the M.O. for those joints. Seems every community of 5000 peeps or more has there own micro brewery these days......and they all seem to feature IPA's.......and I aint gonna waste more money on 'em.

If Stu says you got to drink 4 or five IPA’s before they taste good, I agree. An occasional one is good. Many are the bottom of the barrel.

Not an IPA fan! Maybe for the 3rd or 4th beer, but not the first one.
Hard to go wrong with a lager, but an American Amber like Fat Tire is always a good choice too.
Any of you guys drink that Chinese beer "Tsingtao". I was on a kick of drinking it when I was younger thinking the Chinese had something figured out. Turns out it was founded by German brewers and not really a Chinese recipe.

Regarding the embarrassing story or picture topic, I'm very lucky that my really dumb/embarrassing activities took place before everyone had a phone in their pocket that can immediately take pictures or videos of any dumb thing done. 20 years ago you could be a complete idiot and totally deny everything the next day since there was no proof.
