This is the second time today I've heard about antibody testing being the potential key to all of this. I have wondered how people have freely moved all over the world for nearly 3 months since this started in China and it hadn't swamped the world by March 13th. I also recall in January a few people I knew talking about having an awful case of the stomach flu. At the rate people move through biological bottle necks (airplanes, subways, arenas, elevators, stores, restaurants, offices, churches, schools, bars, etc) I don't see how this thing couldn't have circled the globe in a few weeks vs 4 months. I think you're going to find something more often when you're looking for it, than when you're not. And that is the only thing that's really changed in the past month. I share this because I think it's a decent piece of optimism rooted in science. I'm wondering if this virus hasn't been a month or two ahead of us all along, and with that, nearly done doing what it's going to do.

There were lots of bad colds this winter. Who knows what they were.

There were two main studies that started the global crisis rolling. The WHO dude from Ethiopia said they death rate could reach 10% then downgraded it to 3.4% Then an Oxford study said that 500,000 Brits could die from it. The WHO still hasn’t admitted his numbers are way overboard but, the Oxford study now has said they were way off and say just 20,000 Brits will die and 10,000 were already sick enough healthwise that they’d have been dead within 6 months regardless of the virus. It’s been proven that some stock market hedge fund people pushed the virus to make it go down and have made billions in it. The WHO also said early on that this virus posed no threat to humans and criticized Trump when Trump initially closed flights from China. The WHO guy is in bed with China. To put things in perspective of the annual flu see the CDC numbers for the seasonal flu listed below. The numbers I’m seeing of virus are consistently between 1.2-1.5% of tested patients are dying. They are not testing most people now except for the extremely sick or people on the frontlines due to shortages. The numbers are still looking no worse to me than a strong flu season. Americans are at risk because we are unhealthy as a society. The social distancing thing is a good thing for us but, should be practiced regardless of this virus as the regular annual flu is a killer too. Anyone scared of the Corona virus should be just as concerned with the regular flu.

If this is the case and all of this was orchestrated then we need to go after those organizations and/or people who panicked the world. If the WHO guy is that wrong then he should be removed. Hedge fund guys should be arrested.

I would say follow the dead bodies. You don’t have it in an area without dead bodies. I have a couple coworkers who say they had it 3-4 months ago and they know someone in VA that had it and so on. No dead bodies in the area they didn’t have it. Don’t know if you guys get this in the rest of the country but people are fleeing NY by the thousand to escape it. There is your next wave,

I think Laura Ingraham must be a lurker on our website. She’s the first mainstream media to actually look at the numbers.

At risk people will die from this and overexposed people will die from this virus so it shouldn’t be taken lightly but, I do think that people have hyped it way beyond what it should’ve been. www.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN21D3IS

There is your next wave, The last numbers I saw for N.Y.PD there were 411 positives and 2 deaths. That’s less than .5%. Theoretically they would not be in the elderly class but, who knows their overall medical conditions prior to catching it. They aren’t testing people here in N.H. until they’re full blown because they don’t have enough kits. They tell people what symptoms to look for and when to come in if they need to. The people that have tested positive for it here have had the flu like symptoms. I’m seeing a ton of out of area cars now here in Vermont and N.H. I saw two California, an Ohio , and several New York vehicles yesterday. This will eventually pan out and there’ll be a rush on real estate as people escape the cities.

Yep, he should be in prison. I saw a couple others that flamed the fire also. Opportunists of the worst kind. Our media loves this kind of shit, I sure wish there was a way to stop it.

About a week or two back, I started to realize I was jumping all over the place on my sentiments towards the virus (V) impacts and market (M) impacts. To generate some transparency and consistency to my comments, I decided to code them. V+ A comment meant to convey calm and optimism towards the virus V- A comment meant to convey alarm and doom towards the virus M+ A comment meant to convey calm and optimism towards the market M- A comment meant to convey alarm and doom towards the market I think I've been mostly V+/M+ since doing so.

I saw where the WHO guy from Ethiopia works closely with China.
True or not, I have no idea.

V+
I try to understand what effect the people behind the podium are trying to achieve when they hold a press conference about this stuff.
This guy just trying to make a name for himself? Are they pushing as much hysteria as possible to keep people in until we understand how deadly this really is? Is this an orchestrated biological attack from China?
I believe most leaders (mayors/governors/president) are trying to do the right thing and set BS aside so we can get through this. My hope is they are now on to trying to figure out who can go first and start ending these lock down policies. You'd hate for any one person to be the one to give the all clear and be wrong. But somebody must do so, and soon. Civil compliance only lasts so long and then people will start rationalizing their disregard for the rules.
It's going to be April 1st in a few days. We still haven't had the wave hit, and frankly I don't think it's coming. Politics aside here, I find this story a good sign for everyone. May we be so blessed to have warehouses full of ventilators we never needed in the first place.

I drove past the local hospital/clinic yesterday and the parking lot was pretty much empty. It is usually nearly full.
