Any updates on how this stuff worked? I just sprayed a few clover plots with Butyrac. I've had that jug for years (and years) and had never opened it. I have zero idea if it will still work or not. I figured it wasn't doing any good sitting on the shelf.

I sprayed another spot yesterday this time with nis instead of oil. Weeds were a little taller here as well

I think a mowing (in a few weeks) will go a long way to letting that clover flourish. Maybe next spring you could do the round-up application?. That really worked in a clover plot of mine. Following this with an interest....as I have a plot in a similar conditon. I seeded it to rye and clover in late July last year....after the pigweed overtook my beans. I dont quite know what to do next.

I have a bottle of Grassmax to spray hopefully today to take care of the grasses. I need to get that taken care of first so my clover can flourish more.
Never tried it before, but its got Cleth, so I am sure I will be disappointed. LOLLLL. I have had poor luck with Cleth but I cant say I followed instructions to a T before though.
I am going to this time.

I am going to this time. I hit my wildflower plot with cleth and NIS a couple weeks ago, and the grasses are disappearing. It usually knocks back the RCG a bit, but never kills it. Quackgrass is about the same. Other grasses get nuked pretty good.

How much non ionic surfactant for 10 gallons water and 8 oz cleth?? Label says 1 oz per 50 gallons of water. I must not be reading something right. 2.5 gallons of surfactant would last 50 years.

Cleth sprayed without surfactant. I need to find a source for a gallon or less. Local ag shop only had 2.5 gallons.

Crop oil is recommended for many applications, but on ornamentals NIS is the recommended surfactant.
