Pond management rocks Male channel in full breeding plumage? I sure would like a detailed blueprint of what you do with your ponds.

Bluegills showing some promise. Any of you caught or raised an 11" gill?

Bluegills showing some promise. Any of you caught or raised an 11" gill? Never, that is a huge gill! I'm just lucky on the fish we have. I want to take advantage and promote better fish.

I have a 10.5" on the wall. Caught it on a Rapala Popper bass fishing;) Super small lake that has what seems to be stunted bass. Tried to get access to go ice fish that lake to see if I could find any other sunfish like that but ownership changed and I've been unable to get back on there. We do get several close to 10" on our lake from time to time.

Nice fish. What did you catch him on? Is he hitting the frying pan?

Nice fish. What did you catch him on? Is he hitting the frying pan? Cut in 1/2, 4" green sunfish. Released back. I have set my slot at 26" min or deep hooked, to keep. There r some beasts in there. Lower carrying capacity numbers but nicer fish

Looks very healthy!
Kill the snake, water snakes eat a ton of fish. Never mind... I'm not sure it's water snake. Could just be a garter passing through.
