Couldnt agree more. Yesterday was our first day where bar/restaurants could open, but ONLY outdoor seating. A number of places arent opening because they wont make money to break even with only outdoor seating. And its now storming, so every place will have zero customers with the rain. This is a freakin mess. Service will be restricted to outdoor seating, and restricted to tables spaced six feet apart; No sitting at the bar; No more than 50 customers seated at a time; Parties no larger than four people per table, or six, for families; Reservations are required; Masks would be mandatory for restaurant staff, and are "strongly recommended for customers I thought that was for those who wanted to demonstrate.

I heard a family and the son’s family were positive.
Highest temp was 100.2, lots of aches, and a bad cough.

I been fighting some issues for a few weeks. First I thought it was covid.....but got a negative covid result. Symptoms persist. I still have allot of joint and body aches......and at times run a fever up to 102+ or so. Almost every night I wake-up, ringing-wet, with night sweats.....which I really hate. Today my doctor took six different tests on my blood. They go all over the MN area for different kinds of tests. Kinda wondering about lyme......but the tests will tell. Hope to have some results by mid nest week. Getting tired of this night sweat ordeal. Oh well....still functioning pretty well for most of the day. If nothing else works.....gonna make me an appointment with Art for hoof and mouth? .

Seems like (to a dude with zero medical education but plenty of outdoor experience) a few bucks on some antibiotics may be worth a shot? Any doc in tick country should be (I'd think) throwing a round of antibiotics at somebody to see if the symptoms abate. Who knows in this world I guess. I won't even go into the horror stories of medical care my in laws are receiving now. Seems the only thing Mayo is interested in is if you have the Covid...$$$?

^. Thanks Stu......I think my Doc is on it now........and if not.....I always got Art for a back up. Most frustrating thing for me is to walke up soaking wet with chills.......and it ruins my whole nights sleep. Grrrrrrr..... I suppose it could be worse. As my wife says: "At least you got symptoms". Grin.
Got a friend I play golf with......he's in for a Brain Tumor right now in MPLS (abbott). Never know what's knocking on your door.

Good luck Foggy. I hate night sweats. I like to sleep! I'm good with not sleeping a lot but I want good sleep, not interrupted. Any chance they ordered a second covid test? I hear they can be false negative.

I hear they can be false negative. That is me in a nutshell. I was up at 4 today to spray fruit trees. I tried going to sleep last night around 10:30. The wife was not on the same schedule. At 1 a.m. I was beyond upset with having noise in the house. I haven't been a pleasant person to be around today. I like to sleep, and I like to get good, deep REM sleep. When I don't...people I encounter don't like me

I’m thinking maybe Foggy got a tick bite. I ad Lyme a few years ago and didn’t know it. Was tired and felt like I wanted to sleep 24 hours a day. The doxycycline cleared it up in a couple days. The Lyme test came back negative but, I guess a good percentage do.

If nothing else works.....gonna make me an appointment with Art for hoof and mouth? . There are a whole bunch of tick diseases and some are new and pretty rare in Minnesota. Recommendations. Start on doxy immediately if no interference with your other meds. Make sure they test for Anaplasmosis and ehrliciosis. Be sure and tell them you were in Arizona. The battery of tests might need to be expanded with disease endemic down there. The area up there has been a hot bed for Anaplasmosis... the human disease, cattle Anaplasmosis is entirely different. My cuz’s husband was in the hospital for ten days a few years back. Negative for lymes, they were worried about other things. I told him to start doxy. Finally they ran an Anaplasmosis test and it was positive. Periodically the experts switch these Anaplasmosis and ehrlichia names around. My above naming was accurate a few years ago.

My doctor called me thins morning and my blood culture came back as positive. I got some kmda infection going on in my body.......so I was admitted to the ER at Brainerd Hospital today about noon. Been doing a bunch of tests, ekgs, chest X-rays, covid, urine, etc.....trying to locate where the infection is coming from. Just got moved to a room. Gonna be here a few days the way it sounds. Feel pretty good.....no fever currently. Blood infections get folks worried. Will let you guys know if / when they find the culprit.
Everything is negative so far. Lyme is unlikely according to my Dr.
Not the way I had expected to spend my Saturday. Glad I mowed that clover....grin.
