More tags, more hunters will be filling tags, my guess?

Depends on how this plays out, but I would guess more hunters will shoot deer, less picky this year, more of an overall effort? Fishing license sales are way up.

Camaraderie is a big part of deer hunting for many folks, at least firearm deer hunting anyway. If so many people are afraid of going back to work, will they be afraid to sit in the deer hunting shack too?

We'll be 5 weeks into the second wave of the deadly covid19 worldwide pandemic by then. The processors will be off limits to non-essential animals and deer season is going to be cancelled due to the congregate nature of campfires and having friends and a life to live.

How many pigs are going to get released, and will they survive winter? The next turkeys.
If bars are closed, why go hunting?
Connect COVID to CWD and instead of logging tracks being auctioned off it will be deer elimination areas being auctioned with bounties paid on each deer.

We could use a couple truckloads of hogs in the cwd zone so we have something to chase when the deer are gone.
I never thought about someone letting a bunch go instead of killing and burying them, but that would be awesome.

We won't even have to mix pork with the pig to make it edible! This is a win, win, if you ask me.

If it comes down to subsistence hunting, I will grab a 1.75 of Windsor, a box of shells, freezer paper, and my boys. There would be no license req’d, and the grinder would be smokin’ !!!

Meat lockers are so busy, it will probably be cut it up yourself as the only option. I talked to a guy today that has hogs for sale, he had to go to SD for processing.

My half pig should be done any day now, and the half angus I ordered will be early July pick up. I am in no rush for it.

Did 5 pounds of venison biltong. Sliced 1/2 inch instead of 1 inch this time. oft red meat was leaking people out. Went heavier on the cracked pepper and added some cayenne this time. Good shit.
