It took John a bunch of profanity, frustration,.....and about 10 minutes...then he said it was easy as pie Pie ain't easy around this house. Could someone give me a quick course on loading a picture to my avatar from photobucket? I have the feeling the 'puter is too slow or our fast service isn't fast enough. Or more likely the operator! Lee and the gang, I do appreciate your work on this site.

I gotta find my password for photo bucket so I can get on that site and learn how to use it again. I'm just too lazy to go thru the process.....and tapatalk does the same thing (with current photos).

A few of us old codgers could use a two-day refresher course in computer management with a focus on pictures.

See if you can hold down the Shift key and click on several photos at a time, then if they all "highlight", drag the whole group to the PB file.

Mo, you doing this with pics from your PC or phone? I was assuming your computer? And the photos are stored in a folder? It is weird that it did not work, that is the way you would do a "mass drag and drop" in all versions of Windows? Not sure if it is Photobucket that wouldn't let you do that, but it works on almost every other software I can think of?

More than possible that I am not doing it anywhere near correctly, so I will keep trying.

When you are in photobucket near the top of the page there should be a "Upload" button, also shows up in a couple other spots. If you click on that it should open a new window. You might have to browse to the folder that has the files. Once there you can hold down the "ctrl" key and click on individual files to select multiples. Once you select them click open.
Other option is to click on the first picture file that shows up in the new window, hold down the "shift" key and click on the last file in the open window. This should select every file between the two. Then you can can click open.
It should also work with the drag and drop. "Ctrl" works for clicking random files to drag and drop, "shift" is for files in order.
Also, I suggest downloading an adblock extension for photobucket, makes it way easier to navigate. My adblock just said that 25+ ads were block on the photobucket home page. Ads off to the side still show up, but it blocks all of the annoying popups that block off parts of the page.

No, sorry Mo, westbranch explained it much more thoroughly than I did, follow his directions and it should work.
