Is it late summer that they determine the deer harvest per zone? Rumor is 240 is going to be (5) deer? I don't know if that is true?

My neighbor to the north. He text me, that’s what they are saying? Guessing he heard that from DNR or the local QDM group.

Lotta people out of work up in OTC. Might be a mad rush to fill deer tags this fall to fill freezers at an elevated pace. DNR is liking the unemployment rate I bet.

Intensive harvest has been 3 for a few years now. I'm not aware of an option that would allow a hunter to take 5, but I suppose it may exist.

Seems like no matter what the issue is the answer is less deer. Maybe that's the way they planned it?

I was at the DNR meeting and the group from 240 made it sounds like there was a million deer just in Otter Tail County. I was surprised they wanted more tags? 3 is not enough??

I figured it was just the poor folks in Todd County who wanted to kill every deer humanly possible. It must just be the norm in MN I guess.

Is it Dismal Swamp?

Buy a place in 108 and you will never have to worry about intensive harvest again.
