I had some scrap materials from the wife's table/bench. So I glued them together and made myself a target. Going to try learning knife throwing. Notice I said try. Tell you what, more get picked up from the ground than pulled from the target. But I just started and am getting better. Yellow paint is so I can find them easier when I miss.

I'm getting better not picking them off the ground as often now.

Here's my latest. Serving tray made from cedar with used draft horseshoes. Throw a little felt or carpet in there, put it on the desk, and I'd say goodnight. Looks comfy!

I could get more hours outta elevated sun napping.

Sneak into the humans Amazon account and order yourself one.

The wife is now missing 3 spoons and 2 forks from the silverware drawer. I felt like welding something today. Not that I use a shot glass that often but it will look nice on the bar.

You ever done anything like this? I've never seen how these types of things were built before this. Seems pretty simple.

Made some deer for each of my kids and wife with them using some birch logs. Turned out pretty neat. Forgot I had them till now. Amazing how well they work.

My Dad made one of those deer for me, many years ago,

I used a white pine log and probably peeled black ash for legs if my memory is correct. I also made some footstools out of burls and also slices of oak.

My next item is going to be making a few knives. I've got a few patterns so far and have made myself a jig to grind the bevel. I have put together a forge yet for heat treating and get an old toaster oven and modify it to use to for tempering.
