I thought the same thing Stu. I'm wondering if that was his report for GRIN?

Wow, what an awesome find! I've been reading this all morning, makes me think if I should graft some of the varieties I have the in the fridge or not. LOL! I've got a few varieties planted that I anticipate having to rip out or graft to something else in the future. With your list, I virtually guarantee you'll either have to begin a pretty intensive spray regimen....or do some significant "weeding out" of trees over the years.

So your saying that i'm 'insuring' my future grafting endeavors? LOL! I will spray but just the dormant/captan/imidan routine nothing more extensive.

Captan/Imidan (sounds like we can't get Imidan any more without a commercial license) every 10 days or after every rainfall can get to be time consuming.
In your climate, I'm guessing you'll be spending a fair amount of time learning about IPM from MSU.

Integrated Pest Management, I'll prolly just switch the most disease resistant and say screw it, if I can't have fun just letting 'em grow like QDMA why do it.

Chickenlittle just posted on HT that this was funded by www.sare.org/. He found it on their website and when he pressed them they told it was performed by Walden.
