Yes I have thought about the shipping container route. We have storage for over winter now, which gives me some time to think what route I want to go for storing tractor by land. Do the pole shed.....and don't look back. To much stuff to store.....IMO. Yep, do the pole shed. Then concrete the floor and electric. Then you will need an air compressor, welder and torch for repairs. Full set of mechanics tools also. And a fridge for beers..

Tom, My neighbor is a contractor that specializes in pole builders and is cheap. I would be happy to give you his number if you are interested. He can everything including finish part of it. The only issue with him is sometimes he can be slow at times but does great work for a great price.

I saw this "tool box" thread for the plumbing cap you did......and I did the same thing. It really is a nice compartment......and I keep a few spare pins and a couple of emergency tools in there.......but I seldom need them. With a cab.....tools go on the floor or in one of the cab cubby's. It's a bit different than an open station tractor that way.

Tom, what kind of a chain and binder system are you using? Did you buy that with the trailer or did you put it together yourself?
Got any pictures?

Got any pictures? 3/8 × 20 ft high tensile chain and 5/16 / 3/8 ratchet binders. I got a Clevis for draw bar as and another Clevis to attach to cross member under radiator in front that I run chains thru. Got the chains and binders from Fleet Farm. Could have got away with 16 feet long chains. Pictures are not from Fleet Farm but very similar.
