Booked a hunt in western Mn with a friend and our boys. $250 a gun with one nights lodging. Should be fun. Whats a good hunt in Mn like? We generally clean around 8 limits opening morning. Next year spend your money to get your kids to KS; free hunting, free room and board, fishing between hunts, beer in the evenings, etc. We've always been pretty loose in our opening weekend invites.

I’m all burned and ready to hunt. I’ll bring the sprayer along opening day to kill any germinating weed seed, and maybe burn one small patch I have remaining. Property is almost 2 hours away, so I won’t get to scout it until I hunt. They’re either there or they ain’t. It’ll be just me opening day increasing to maybe 3 total hunters opening weekend. Weather is looking decent for the opener.

See you next fall! We'll fire up my chainsaw to cut up some osage staves for you guys to ship home. Keep me reminded that you're coming. If it's cheaper to fly I can pick you up in Wichita.

Outstanding! Will your dog retrieve them? I've known a lot of dogs that didn't like them in their mouth.
