Do many Biden guys or those on the bubble own a boat? Likely not. Losers. Most drive a Prius or a Subaru I'm told.

He was driving a new Camaro...convertible He was coming in hot on a near 90 degree bend before he saw us. I slowed down to make sure he wouldn't hit us, then buried it after he got straightened out just to make sure he enjoyed the dirt road experience No idea why a guy would take a shiny new convertible down a dusty dirt road. I bet he bitched about the locals and rural conditions when he got back home though.

My parents hate Trump and will likely vote for Biden. Unless I can find an argument that overcomes their hate.
Boat parades and getting people to give you the finger for waving Trump flags won't change their mind.
Acting an arrogant prick like Trump won't change their mind.

That goes back to your question about what is the right doing to get the vote out. Nothing really that I can see. My old man was a fiscal conservative for most of his life. He voted R most of the time, but as he aged he softened and started voting D like my mom. My mom hates Trump. She also finds Biden offensive. She'll probably vote Biden if she votes. If Dad was still alive and had all of his marbles I don't really know who he'd vote for in November. Trump isn't a Republican like Dad used to vote for...I felt the same way in '16. Trump wasn't/isn't a fiscally conservative Republican. Heck, he was a registered Democrat for a good number of years. He was against guns before he was for them. He was for abortion before he was against. For not being a politician, he certainly knew/knows how to play the political game. I'll say this, his "machine" is better than any politician in my memory

^ The biggest problem I see is far left could take us into some bad gun laws, more liberal judges, loss of our constitution and freedom as we know it. Not sure this will end pretty in any event. We need a politician like Reagan to heal this country.

Found all the info to confusing about the candidates.

We need a politician like Reagan to heal this country. I agree completely. There really is no choice in 2020 as far as I'm concerned. Socialism or capitalism...that's how I see this election cycle and probably those in the near future. Trump is no Reagan IMO...but he's all we've got right now

I have sworn off political conversations with my parents - but we do discuss politicized events.
My parents knew Kyle shot 3 people. They did not know they were all felons. My parents knew MSP burned. They did not know they can not rebuild because demo costs are 10X higher than insurance covers. My parents knew kids were jacking cars in NY. They did not know bail reform means minors are released to repeat over and over and over again.
etc etc etc

She believes that CNN is telling her the truth. It is painful to point out that she has been betrayed by the "news". The "news" used to be the "news" for her. Not "infotainment". I'd rather talk with her about whether the cookies I sent her this month were tasty or not.

I show them legit CDC etc web based data. Maybe it makes them think?

To answer all of those who would say; “I can't believe you would vote for Trump.
Well folks listen up! I'm not voting for him. If you absolutely MUST know:
I'm voting for the Second Amendment.
I'm voting for the next Supreme Court Justice.
I'm voting for the Electoral College and the Republic in which we live.
I'm voting for equal justice for all—against racism of any sort.
I'm voting for the police—law and order.
I'm voting for the military and the veterans who fought for and died for you and this Country.
I'm voting for the flag that is always missing from the Democratic background.
I'm voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored.
I’m voting for secure borders.
I’m voting for the right to praise my God without fear.
I’m voting for every unborn soul the Democrats want to murder—using our tax money—and an end to genocide.
I’m voting for freedom and the American dream.
I’m voting for good and against evil.
I'm not just voting for one person, I'm voting for the future of my country—the United States of America!
What are you voting for?

The fact that I voted for Trump in '16 and will vote for him again in '20 drives my Mom nuts. We both know that we think the other's political choices are stupid. It's easier (for us) to just acknowledge that chasm and talk about other shit instead. It's easier to talk shit about my sister....we both agree she's a POS
