With a machine that size I wouldn’t even consider a tiller. A nice disc and drag will do nearly the same job and it won’t be painfully slow going. I plant several acres each year with a little smaller tractor and don’t mess around with tillers I will have a disc and a tiller. I will use the tiller for our garden and for small plots. The disc for the big stuff. It will also serve as the back up in case I had disc issues or something. A tiller is nice to have but I see the disk getting the majority of the use. Tiller would be great for what you mentioned also would work slick as shit for putting down a strip of sunflowers, buckwheat or even a row or 2 of beans or corn into a clover plot. A small clover plot with a few rows of corn around the edge would make for easy entry into a kill plot stand. Is the tractor hydrostatic or gear drive?

Gear Drive 12x12 with power shuttle (no clutch needed for forward to reverse)

Congrats Brad. Nice Beast. You going to let the oldest son or your wife drive it? You should teach the wife to drive it. I remember when I taught mine how to drive mine. She came off it with the biggest smile on her face.

You can tell Brad is excited about his new toy. Otherwise why would he have posted it in BIG GAME. I'd be excited about a new tractor like that also.

Brad needs to update this thread. A lot of you guys will be surprised. Well give us the update if Brad isn't going to update! Maybe we should take guesses as to what he has going on. I'll guess that he has another kid on the way and that he sold all of his food plot stuff to buy diapers. Or he ditched it all and bought a cat and a Subaru and is getting started on his own regenerative ag journey.
