So, I took the past couple years off from ice fishing while I was working on cabin stuff. I've got one of the first versions of the Ion auger that came out. I've got a couple batteries that I charged up probably in the middle of 2019. I pulled them out yesterday and they both still show fully charged (at least 3 out of 3 LEDs). What are the odds those batteries are still good? Should I take them in to get tested? Can they be tested?

Use them and find out. Go drill 100 holes on a local pond.

Use them and find out. Go drill 100 holes on a local pond. There's a trophy lake about 40 minutes west of SF I may go check out first to see. I've had good luck fishing the trophy lake up by Webster. Every walleye was 20-26". Had to release them all, but it was a ton of fun. I can always take the hand auger as a backup. I number those batteries too so I know which is which. I used one for a couple years, then I bought a second one. Then the first one went to shit and I bought a third.
