What do you guys like using? I see pros and cons to most of them
3 Pt Snow blower - Expensive. Lots of moving parts. Need to drive backwards so hard on the neck. Can throw snow where you want it to go no matter how deep the snow is.
Front mounted blade - Cheaper. Driving forwards. If you have a narrow driveway the snow may start falling back in. Hard to use close to buildings and such.
Bucket- Basically free as you already have it. Can't turn so there is a limit on how much snow you can push how far. Also will leave streaks of snow since you can't turn it
Back blade- Cheap. Can turn blade. Can use driving forward or backwards.

I think a bucket and back blade are best options for a tractor. I think if you were to put a plow on the front end you have trouble with the front end being pushed around as the majority of the weight of the tractor is in the rear. Foggy can give insight as he had a plow on his JD if I remember right. A blower would be slick as shit but how much would you really use it. Back blade can be used year round.

I asked the dealer that question and they told me the 3rd function do not have enough flow to power a snow blower. Only way to do it is with a front PTO (I don't have that) or a very expensive rear pto hydralic box and then you run the hoses to the front. Not doing that as that is like 10 grand.

I knew that there wasn't enough hydraulic flow to run it by the hydraulics. Do a little more searching I found where they run an attachment off the rear pto to the front of tractor. I will see if I can find the link for it.

Looked into a pusher a little more. Probably not the right tool for me. Not wide open of an area. They shine in parking lot situations it sounds like. not longer driveways.
