So with the new place we will have a way longer driveway than we used to have. it will be about 360yards long. what would be the best options for snowplowing? currently have a Utv, and my Brother does have a plow truck however I hate to have to rely solely on him as he his has other duties as well. Was thinking tractor mounted snowblower as then I could convince the wife that I need a tractor

If that pic is oriented so that north is up, you'll not only want a tractor...you'll need one. Being able to get snow well away from the driveway (e.g. snowblower) will be important when the wind is blowing 30 mph from the N.
edit...I've got an old F250 that I plow with. Most years it does just fine. In high snow years with lots of wind, I've come close to running out of room to push snow (330' driveway). I've recently decided that if/when my old truck takes a shit, I'll be hiring the snowplowing done. When I average out annual costs, it would take me many, many years to make a new plow truck/snowplow pay off.

A high driveway often blows clear in a windy snowfall.....depending on driveway and wind directions.

I think you’d do your driveway ok with the UTV assuming you started pushing it off the driveway a long ways. Looks like you’d get more drifting by the house however and that could get tricky come the middle of winter and a big storm.

You could get away with an ATV plow some years, but that won't work during a bad winter. I think a 4wd tractor with a snow blower would be your best option. A former neighbor has a 3/4 mile driveway that drifts horribly in a few spots. He needed a tractor mounted blower to get out many years.
A well placed snow fence might not be a bad idea either. The thought of putting up and taking down snow fences doesn't appeal to me at all, so I'd likely plant shrubs to act as a living snow fence.
As Foggy mentioned though in some driveways the wind can be your friend if it is out of the right direction and can blow the snow off your driveway.

Here is a case where bigger is probably better. I agree you could clear it with a UTV but how much time do you want to spend and how comfortable do you want to be while doing it. Plowing is usually done at the worst time so I would keep that in mind.
Maybe start with the UTV and see how it goes but a cab with good heat would be nice.

If in doubt of all of the above.....but a tractor with a CAB - if you can find one. Im back in MN and just drove by the Kubota dealer.....his lot is like empty. I bet all this stuff is sin short supply. It was already last year. Plan ahead.
FWIW......I own a Kubota L 3560 hydro with a cab. Some have said this is the ideal tractor for a snow blower......(or possibly it's higher HP model the L-4060)
I have considered that I should lease my tractor out for the winter if someone would buy a front mounted snow blower for it.....and return it each spring. I would not do this with just anyone.....but it is a thought. Mine sits all winter. I do not have a plow......nor need one.

My driveway in mn is over 1000’ long. Been plowing with a skid steer and 8’ snow bucket forever. Had a 8’ hydroturn plow for it also. Lot easier to hire a guy for $125 to plow out the large yard and driveway now.

Snow fence in your future.... I agree. Those north winds could make Lee’s life difficult. Snow fence could cut the plowing down a lot. We lived on a large farm with a long drive when we were first married. The farm plowed our drive. One night we had a couple inches of snow. We went to go to work and there was 3’ of snow across the driveway in a small section. My wife called the farmer. He thought we were kidding when we told him he needed to plow so he showed up with his pickup and plow. He got stuck. He was pissed at himself. So he had to walk back 1/2 mile across the field which had no snow and got a large tractor with bucket. He towed the truck out and plowed the drive but, were 1/2 later for work. The farmer put up snow fence after that and we never had any more drifting issues. Put up snow fence Lee.

Yep, putting up/taking down snow fence is a PITA. I used to do so every fall and spring, not for snow but to keep deer off my arborvitaes. The only issue I see with that at Lee's is herbicide drift.

Pine tree rows all the way down the driveway to help ease drifting in the future
