I am 1000% Ego now. I sold my ryobi set. EGO kills it! Picked up a EGO trimmer and blower this week. It really is sweet

This has to be one of the Best Buy’s I have ever made. No messing with gas and oil. i also consider it as a safety feature for early ice. You can easily drill a hole every 20 steps to check ice thickness.

Art.....are you putting 8 lines down them holes? Don't your lines get tangled when you fish that close? That electric auger looks pretty sweet.

If I ever start icefishing again, I'd buy a similar auger. We've got an old Jiffy gas auger, but I have no idea if the thing would start or not.

All new purchases of small machine type tools in my future will default to battery operated. I'm going to have to prove to myself that the work can't be done with battery before I purchase another IC device.

You might not understand it. The Finlanders create these for fun. JPS use it for trolling. i just can’t get that rectangular block to spin!

How many holes can be drilled on a charge and does the cold kill the battery.

I don’t drill a lot of holes and it would vary with ice thickness. My buddy always lays his auger down with the battery up and sunshine may warm it a bit. Sorry, I didn’t answer your question.
