The talk about the little LP tanks got me thinking about blind heaters.
Who uses one, and which one? I'm no fan of the buddy heater line. I've got sunflowers, but they can get to tootin' like a damn french horn every now and then for some reason. That wouldn't be good for the element of surprise.

I run Mr Heater in all 3 of my blinds and portable Ice fishing shack. After 15 years of use I had to replace one 2 years ago.

I've never used a blind heater since I've assumed they would smell or possibly cause the scope to fog up when you opened the window. Does anything like that happen when using them?

When you 1st start heater up the windows get a little condensation on them. I think this is from walking into blind. I just open the windows a crack and it clears up. Never had problem with scope fogging up.

We always leave our primary/ front window open while hunting. We have a table/ shelf in front of us where we lay a rifle and we put a quilt under it that is draped over our legs. The heater pushes heat under the edge of the quilt.
