Not to brag about a four incher, but this thing has impressed me in the week I've had it. Anyone else ever played with one? It throws good chips. Feels solid in the hand. $35 with a battery. It works with Makita batteries. I use Milwaukee, so bought an adapter for another $15, but that will work on any Makita tool in the future. Replacement chains are $10.
I bought it as the old neighbor next door was looking at small electric chainsaws to cut brush in his yard. He currently uses Makita tools. I saw this thing doing research for him, and at the price point he wanted to give it a try. I did too.
And acorns are dropping in the yard.

I considered one of those......and then decided to buy an EGO 16" electric chain saw. I usually have some storm damage (like now) and need to brush out some trails and tree stands. I use their hedge trimmer and blower too....and all use the same batteries. 56 volts.
I'd still like one of those little guys....would fit right in the cab of my tractor. Good luck.

Neat little saw! Foggy Lovin my ego stuff as well. I found on Amce tools they have all kinds of reconditioned tools. My 14 inch chainsaw package with batt and charger was 179. Just got a heavy duty hedge trimmer with batt and charger for 149. Gonna sell that batt and charger and more then pay for the trimmer.

I did find that hedge trimmer at a great price without the battery and charger....but that was an exception to the rule. I do need two batteries and two chargers for three tools to keep in power at two different locations. Those tools are the real deal. I also keep one of those blowers in OZ....and it gets used on a daily basis due to the dust down there. perfect!

Is there more danger of kickback on a 4” bar? I like my Echo CS2511T with 12” for pruning but, wouldn’t use it on every stuff.

The 4 incher does seem dangerous in it's own way as you can be using it with one hand while you have the other hand free to get into trouble.

Top handle saws are more dangerous for sure
