Yes it did by us. Went from getting kill tag in 5 to 6 years to getting kill tag in 9 to 10 years. Figures, does that affect your business or quality of bears? Seems like allot of points for a place that produces allot of bears. It isn't my business I just help/guide, but yes it has affected the business. Went from 100 hunters to 30 some hunters. The bear population had been going down so a few years with reduced tags will increase the bear numbers in a short time. The success rate went up this year as we could spread the baits out even more. It was a lot more relaxed atmosphere this year with the reduced number of hunters.

If you can take the time off to bear hunt, put in for kill tag as you never know what the DNR will give out for tags.
