That sucks Tom. I’d think they’d just replace the camera instead of repair. Are they back ordered online?? The poor service you’ve received is probably due to them being a small company that can’t keep up with the demand. That usually doesn’t end well. I hope it gets resolved soon for you. Before I sent it in they said they would check it out if it needed to be reflashed if not that they would replace it. With it taking this long it leads me to believe that they have some big problems with their cameras and can't keep up. If you go on social media and ask questions they delete the question to make it look like nothing is wrong. I pm a customer rep on facebook, who said that he would check on my camera earlier this week. He responded that it would be resolved by Wednesday, no later than Thursday and I would have by Friday. I checked my account that they set up to let me know what is happening with my returned camera, it still shows "waiting for processing ". I have it on yearly unlimited plan so I lost a month of service plus I bought it for monitoring deer for deer hunting and it has been out of commission the whole month of November/prime time.

Then I’d ask for two extra months service. That won’t cost them anything and will be goodwill.

cams are a funny thing. I've bought a bunch over the years. Some last a couple years and go to shit. Most every one I've ever bought eventually failed, except the very first moultrie cam I bought. That thing is still running 9 years later, and that's the one marv crushed with a 14" basswood log while showcasing his felling prowess.

My original bushnell is still going. I’ve had 2 or 3 come and go since that one. No idea why it lasts but I probably just killed it.

They should last longer than that. I have some Bushnell cams that are going on year 5 and 6.

Tom You can suspend service via phone app. I have unlimited yearly pro plan, I could suspend, but I would just lose the time.

I was wondering if it delays the end date.

I was wondering if it delays the end date. Nope. I already asked. When I get my camera back I will be calling and ask for an extension if I can get thru to them.

37 days since I 1st tried contacting Reveal by Tactacam that my Reveal X would not turn on. 28 days it has been sitting in their repair shop. Terrible customer service.

I got my camera back today. 45 days since I made contact with Tactacam that it wouldn't turn on. They "reflashed"it which doesn't take long. Hopefully it stays working for a while.

I sound like a broken record probably. But, buy your stuff from trailcampro.com and you wont have to deal with the manufacturer for this stuff. I don't know if I can find my spypoint cameras cheaper or not. But I won't buy them from anyplace else after the stellar support they've given me. I do not work for them.

Sounds good but, the manufacturer should provide a good service as well. I hope Tom gets credit for 45 extra days on the annual plan.

At the time I bought mine it was next to impossible to find one. Trailcampro did not have any in inventory.

Agree on trailcampro, they did not question my warranty claim for a Spypoint camera return after owning it for 17 months. I would not hesitate to buy from them.
