We attach to a tree. You just have to make sure they can’t wrap around other trees and brush. We had one foot left in a trap when it got tangled around roots. I hate coons but I don’t want to wound one like that.

Up to 7 coons. That includes a double last night. Hard to believe. Neighbors old barn came down last winter due to snow. Wonder if they got booted from their home.

3rd coon of the spring last night. Good news is that I'm catching them right where the pheasants have been hanging out. I know the neighbor has been trapping too so I'm surprised I'm still catching. Gonna change my saying to "breed like coons" I guess.
