I worded that wrong … I guess what I meant is name a standout high production pear? I have zero that have survived in MN (long term) Kieffer is usually about as "foolproof" a pear as you can get in areas warmer than MN. They aren't great for human consumption, but critters don't mind. edit...I have zero experience with the "deer pears" available from a number of sources, but I've seen some impressive pics from more southern growers. May be worth a bit of research.
