I was digging in the bottom of my Dad’s gun cabinet and found a license from 1966. I also found one of mine from 1982.

I remember the metal tags with the "ball" on the end of one side of it.

I remember the metal tags with the "ball" on the end of one side of it. One of my Dad’s JPS friends knew how to open those tags and reuse them. He had a lot of kids and would not show his boys how to open the tags. We were a one deer area and that family would consume a lot of venison.

I’ve got some of those type from Vermont from 1975 or so. The paper was water proof and was very difficult to write your name on.

Had similar metal tags to seal semi trailer doors.
