I am thinking of keeping the 6.5 creedmoor that I won last week. Lets hear some scope and ammo suggestions for it. It will be used more for deer hunting than any thing else. Longest shot will be 150 yards.

I’ve got a 6.5 tikka T3x super lite. I put a leupold vx-3 4.5-14 x 50mm on mine. Haven’t shot anything with it yet though. I have Winchester deer season xp and Nosler for it.

Do you ever hunt coyote, that would be a good gun for it. Put on a night scope and call them in.
I’d keep the gun light and quick handling, at 150 yards a 2-8 is plenty of power and a good field of view. With a 6.5 caliber for deer I would go with as heavy a bullet as it will fire.

I with the "keep it light" crowd. Never owned a 6.5 so no real advice for ya other than shoot it a ton and enjoy it.
