On my evening bike ride I've been seeing 3 fawns hanging with one doe? Triplets or did one mama get car killed?

On my evening bike ride I've been seeing 3 fawns hanging with one doe? Triplets or did one mama get car killed? . Years back, an old doe hung in front of our house and had 8 fawns in 3 years. She was a good mama and ran everything else away.

Check out the size difference of these 2 fawns. I believe they are brother and sister. Not possible to be siblings. A doe wont drop one and then another weeks later. There are a couple does nearby. That age difference is a LOT. I saw twins a few days ago that were born in the last week or two. TINY!!!!!!!!!!!! Smaller that that smaller one in the pic by far.

That age difference is a LOT. I saw twins a few days ago that were born in the last week or two. TINY!!!!!!!!!!!! Smaller that that smaller one in the pic by far. They are twins. Just one is buck fawn and other is doe fawn. Had pics with mom.

Had pics with mom. . I wonder about a genetic dwarfism if that exists in deer. There is a farmer’s saying for those runts, but I guess I better not say it. To be polite, she has poor nutrition from her mom. That would be another possibility.

Also it is very common for twin fawns to have 2 different dads. What?!? You just blew my mind if this is true. I’ve never heard of that. Yep they did a study and checked DNA on fawns and a very large percentage had different dads proving that most does are bred multiple times by different bucks.
