I am due for an upgrade. Been using an original hunter safety system vest for a very long time.
I want something new that has a line man strap for stand hanging. Been looking at Muddy. Anyone have a recommendation of what they prefer?

I'm still using a vest system. Actually, I haven't used anything for 2 years now. I climb into a boxblind and that's it.

Anyone have a recommendation of what they prefer? I went to a rock climbing harness a few years ago and never looked back. I don't like more stuff hanging off my shoulders. I like the linemans feature as well as the low hanging attachment rope to the tree. Also, if you fall theoretically you should be facing the tree as the attachment is in front of you.

Never thought of that.

Do you have a link to this or did you build this yourself?

I still use the hunter safety System. I am sick of putting the thing on but I always do. A person can’t have enough crap hanging off of them.

I have quit using any hang on or climbing stands. I have been wooden lot metal ladder stands, and I guess I should be wearing a safety harness.

I understand a rock climbing harness is about safety and fall prevention. What keeps you upright if you fall? Ripped skinny guys climb rocks. They can probably right themselves if flipped upside down. Not sure a slightly overweight almost 50 over dressed bow hunter can do the same.

Watch this or search for others: I thought the same as you until I watched a video.
